  1. Not sure about angles, but come to think of it Lawsuits? make you shiver! BTW yes i know they're 8 places . . . . .
  2. Sorry Guys, but another one of my Major Bugbares of VW is the total lack of accuracy! If i set an object to 25mm x 25mm at 375mm from another object, that's where i expect to find it. More often than not, if you then set the decimals to 5 or 10 places you'll find instead of set whole number sizes or distances, that you have 24.92735562 or 375.28653499. That's fine if these were the measurements chosen, but not if arbitrarily dreamed up by VW. i appreciate that your needs may be different and an option should be available, but accuracy comes first. Anything else plays 2nd fiddle . . . . . .
  3. Personally don't make much use of hatches, but i understand the frustration and it would seem natural to me that they "Should" have migrated with the C4D Legacy. All that power being left dormant and unused. It's a bit of a waste.
  4. Search in Air(2011) is also abysmal, but that could just be down to certain aspects not being covered by NAG. ?? Definitely needs that overhaul . . . . . .
  5. "Ozzie" and "bcd" Cmd and S keys on all my keyboards i've ever owned are always the first to lose their markings. Current is the first to survive a year with letters still in tact . . . . .
  6. Volumes, Coordinates, "Accurate" dims, Rotation, etc. etc. . . . . . . Of course, you can always refer to Raymond's "Reshaper", but that must be called upon each time you wish to see these snippits of reference and then close it once edited or copied or whatever action you wish to perform. And that's my only criticism, you can't replace the OIP with it. It's so much better!!
  7. Yep, an age old need from pre "Machine Design" module days Still just as necessary now! Fully fledged PCs would be really nice.
  8. Q, as you and Christiaan pointed out, different methods of use on similar or the same PC can raise different stability issues. i'm still using 2011, but managed to reduce Crashes by modifying my use. i don't now if 2012 is still laden with bucket loads of ancient code, but hitting many shortcuts in succession(as was my habit) and expecting VW to respond caused endless frustration. Patience improves VW's attitude imensely. Not that we should ever have to wait, but reserved caution goes quite a way to reducing them.
  9. One should never be "Fobbed off" regardless of how "BIG" or "small" a software company is and a more directly involved customer support system helps sell licenses. If, as Vincent suggests, their really is 400,000 of us out here, that sounds like a pretty substantial amount to be able to invest in producing a great CAD product . . . . . . doesn't it?
  10. Hi Q, there have been a series of similar threads on this subject, but right now i can't find any of them. If i can fish them out i'll post the links here. BTW, if you post what you're running;- type of PC, System, and the version of VW with SP# and any other related pieces of kit it will make it easier for anyone to reply much more concisely to your Wish, Request, Suggestion . . . . . knowing what you're using.
  11. It'd be nice to see VW take on full integration of 3D Connexion Space Navigator, but i'm still waiting for VW to get back on track with all it's basic 3D Tools, so it's still not the top of my list . . . . . . Yet.
  12. i'm with Maartn on this one, right click options would seem much more practical than another "Space Hogging" toolbar. More drawing space, not less . . . . . . .
  13. Still gets my Vote, Christiaan! i'd just be happy if i could open old VW files with out constant complaints that the file is unreadable, or after a few hours work being told that the imported file "Maybe Corrupt" because the current can't read the legacy, but opens fine in the last version it was previously saved in. . . . . . ??? Vincent, you're right, this is a stability problem. Monkey, i'd upgrade more frequently too if i could trust VW to read older files . . . without the bells . . . . Chris D, yeah it's a real time waster, back and forth, to and fro . . . . We REALLY do need a GOOD translator! VW to VW.
  14. i'll drink to that! T shirt with no central heating!
  15. Yeah, NAG really does need to catch up with the competition. A very desirable form of this Tool/Command.
