  1. I get your point on the price policy. OK, no problem. But why are the tools protected? Why can't we look into the script code anymore? It was interesting to be able to modify parts of the code to adjustr the tools to your own needs... I'm really sorry about this.
  2. I'm really dissapointed in the fact that Nemetschek blokked all their tools for editing. This was one of the strong advantages of VW over AutoCAD. And why has VW 9 lost all of it's formerly incorporated industry-linked tools (stairs, wall framer, ...)? Now we need to buy 3 or 4 modules to have a complete software. I used to be pretty sure about the VW supremacy over AutoCAD, since ACAD was just the engine and with VW you have the complete car for less money... This is all past now... A Real Shame... ------------------
  3. Why does my mac say that it doesn't find the installed VW9 when it has just been installed? Did anyone come to something similar and found a solution? Thanks,
  4. Please do something about this... I have to support the others asking for this...
  5. Indeed, very enoying, please do something about it...
  6. Would it be possible to have symbols scale-able (sorry, English isn't my mother tongue), even with different values for x-, y- and z-scale, proportional to the original symbol and different for each introduced copy of the symbol ? ------------------
  7. I'd like to see the possibility to have a different opening in an inside wall and an outside wall for the same window. An opening in a brick outside wall normally is 10 cm less large and 5 cm less high then the opening in the inside wall (brick, concrete or wood). I allways need to decompose these walls into 2 parts one besides the other and make an empty opening in the outside part to do what I want. While you're at it, a sill usually is even 10 cm larger then the outside opening. It's hard to explain what I mean without a drawing, so if you'd like me to explain it further with a drawing, please send me a mail. Thanks, ------------------
  8. But It would be great to have the possibility to have them turned on and of in the drop-down menu... ------------------
  9. quote: Originally posted by Thunder: I am trying to print multiple saved sheets with out having to select each sheet seperatly. Basically I want to be able to hightlight a file icon hit command+p(print) and have all sheets be printed without having to open the file and select each sheet individually for printing. Can this be done? By VectorScript ? You could make a VectorScript command ?
  10. I have made 2 little VectorScript-modules that does just that. I call them 'point to point move' and 'point to point copy'. I'll mail them to you if you want to. peter.eg.vandewalle@pi.be
  11. Not that I know. But you're right. Dashed lines should be spread out over the lenght of the line to draw instead of sticking to their 'dash-codes'.
  12. The layer and classes visibility/activity should be changeable from within the scroll-out menu... Check AutoCAD.
  13. Please do not forget that pressing the alt-key while dragging to select will act like the left-selection in Acad. I do agree on the rest of the remarks.
  14. It would even be nicer to be able to change the status (on/grey/off) of the layers (& classes) in this scroll menu. That way we don't always have to open the dialog boxes.
  15. I agree. Could something be done about this. Maybe the symbol could store a 'cut-out-shape'?
  16. I agree on the preferences part but not on the zoom in/out part
  17. Here are some things I'd really like : Why can't we give an insertion point for workgroup referenced layers ? That way we'd be able to make lay-outs without having to put all the plans of a project besides each other. We could just reference the base file and put the layers where we want them on the sheet to print. Of course the insertion points should be remembered by the file where the lay-out is made, so that after refreshing the reference file, the lay-out won't get messed-up. Another thing is the possibility to draw circles touching 3 lines/circles. What happened to the handy constraints "parallel" and "perpendicular" ? Last but not least the possibility to edit plug-ins made by DiehlGraphsoft, in other words to be able to edit large scripts on a Mac. Thanks. 18. Can someone tell me how to edit large VectorScripts (>32k) on a Mac ? Thanks. A VectorScript Topic would be nice ...
