Hi, I am placing windows and doors on my building model in plan view. An issue I am having is that I cannot see the door swing on my plan. But I can see the doors when I move it, but then it disappears after I place it. The reason I want the door swing to show is b/c it helps differentiate the door and windows.

Try selecting a door, then -> "Door in Wall" Object Info Palette -> Visualization -> Angle-> 90

 

If that works, you can select all of the doors using the Select Similar tool (icon: magic wand with a star) and take care of all of them.

The door preset is already Angle 90. I see the door swing when I move it around but once I place it,  the door swing disappears.

Maybe it has something to do with Auto Detail Level settings:

Good point.  Check all the classes in Door Settings -> 2D Visualization
