hollister design Studio
Just wondering. When one hits "K" to close a polygon, VW doesn't just close, it adds a middle point that is the intersection of the first segment and the direction/position of the cursor at a 90deg corner. This can be nice I suppose - but often I've placed the first point exactly where I want it and I've placed the last point exactly where I want it. I don't always want at 90deg intersection... Is this behavior selectable in any way? Or is intersecting at a 90 the built in function of the 'complete polygon' command. Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
If you leave your cursor hovering near the last point you clicked, then hit K, it'll connect that point to the starting point. If you move your cursor to another location and don't click, then hit K, it'll add a point with a 90° corner as you've described. (Not sure the usefulness of this, but that seems to be how it works).
