techdef
Hi, Ive got a terrain model used for several projects so it lives in its own file and is referenced into the projects themselves. Every time I want to do anything showing the image on the terrain model I have to open the terrain file and click "update" on the terrain model. Is there really no way to get the image to load/display without doing so? It also makes using the cloud rendering impossible. Edited February 8, 2022 by techdef Quote Link to comment
zoomer
AFAIK The geoimage texture is adaptive. Means it will update if you move (and maybe extend) your DTM. But as the DTM is pretty static and not adaptive when moving 🙂 that doesn't make much sense. And it is strange why the current image will not simply be cached in the file. A workaround may be to deactivate the Geoimage from the DTM, save a 2D geoimage and create a RW Texture from it to apply the the DTM. (Not experienced enough with DTM if you can attach a RW texture directly to a DTM or need to ungroup a copy first) 1 Quote Link to comment
