John Windswept Design
Most of the residential windows (90%) I deal with have a large pane on the bottom and a smaller pane on the top with mullions. What would be the best way to create this window in 3d? Also the larger living room display type windows usually in 3 sections but not three equal sections (i.e. large window in the middle). How can I create this window? Can I create my own symbols? Are there symbols already out there that I haven?t seen? Can I buy them? They should be part of the vectorworks package as windows are an important 3d visual tool. Regards John T Quote Link to comment
islandmon
You are probably better off just creating your own set of hybrid symbols based on the 'window' PIO. Use ungroup tweedle away, then create as symbol. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Jonel - buy a copy of WinDoor from OzCAD www.ozcad.com.au It has a cottage double hung window option which has a smaller top pane, and also has the option of adding glazing bars to the top pane only. This should give you exactly what you want. You can check out the capabilities of WinDoor through the downloadable QT movies on their website. Follow the tabs Products / Add Ons / WinDoor I think you will be amazed. Quote Link to comment
