lsid
I am not sure if there was any Renderworks in the 8.5 I used back in the previous firm. Now, I am in a new firm working with 10.5 and I am curious about the TEXTURE finish dialogue ( shows a sphere, triangular, cube) which I could select the finish for the texture for the object; when I was using 8.5. Can anyone able to help me where I can find the same in vw 10.5 or is that in Renderworks? macOS/vw10.5 Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Isid, this (along with a lot of other stuff) is now in the Object Information Palette (OIP)>Texture Tab (at the bottom of the OIP)>Mapping... In there you'll find a pulldown in which you can select the various different mapping types you are looking for. Happy Holidays, Peter Cipes Ashland, Or Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted December 26, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 26, 2003 Hello Isid: The texture resources are managed through the Resource Browser palette (was the Resource palette in 8.5), and assigned to objects through the Object Info palette, like in 8.5. Now you can assign textures to objects by selecting the object and double-clicking on the resource, rather than having to open the textures pane on the OI palette and using the texture menu.
