Christiaan
This is an extract from a planning application document we came across and quite liked. It's a masterplan drawing merged with an aerial photo. It looks to me like they sketched it by hand, scanned it in and then coloured in up in Photoshop or similar (or maybe an iPad app)? How far do you think you could go in recreating this look purely in Vectorworks (2D or 3D)? How would you go about it? I have a few ideas but I think the most difficult bit (at least in 2D) would be achieving the ambient occlusion effect around the fence lines. 3 Quote Link to comment
Jeff Prince
This will be a fun concept to play around with next week when I have more time 🙂 I usually make these types of graphic with markers, photoshop, or procreate. Would be cool to develop a Vectorworks process that was quick and based off the 3D. 1 Quote Link to comment
neal-2002
Could maybe do it in Vectorworks coloured with no lines and then just add black outlines in procreate etc on iPad?? I can’t imagine it’s all handrawn as all the shadows look perfect...?? Quote Link to comment
