Jim Smith
Surface Hatches is a time sink. I would like them to be baked in to both a Hatch & a Texture. Quote Link to comment
0 Jim Smith
I should re-phrase this. Some textures do this already, but many don't. Quote Link to comment
0 Tom W.
All textures can have surface hatches assigned to them already but do you mean something more than this? Quote Link to comment
0 Matt Overton
At a guess but maybe wishful thinking. Many textures are procedurally generated patterns. They should be able to generate the surface hatch much like bump can be set to follow the lead of the textures visual appearance. Quote Link to comment
0 Tom W.
It would be really good to do that + far more quickly/easily give a surface hatch to a texture Quote Link to comment
