Package Manager File Location

Question

Hi,

I'm having trouble updating my default libraries. My C: drive is full so the Package Manager keeps falling over. How can I direct the Package Manager to download the libraries to an alternate drive?

Cheers,

Tony Harding

You need to make room on your C drive if that is where your Vectorworks is located.

Its not a good idea to have your C Drive fully.  Before drives became quite large the rule of thumb was to make sure it was never more than 70% full.

Thanks Mike.

Is there not a way to separate the libraries from the program file location or do they always have to be on the same drive?

Cheers,

Tony

When downloading content, it MUST go into the Application folder, this can not be altered. Once you have libraries downloaded however they can be stored anywhere on any local hard disk and added to the Resource Manager as favorites.
