steelydev
How does one show door swing arc in plan viewport using VW2017? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 11, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 11, 2017 Usually this is controlled by the "Sills" class, which would need to be turned on in any viewports you wanted the swing to show in. Quote Link to comment
steelydev
Sills class is visible in all viewports. Viewport view is Top/Plan, Background render Wireframe, Foreground Render None. Quote Link to comment

Perhaps attach the file (or copy and paste the wall/door into a new file) and we can take a closer look? Another thought... has the "Angle" of the door been set to 0 instead of 90? That would make the swings not exist: Or perhaps the swings were assigned to some other class here: Quote Link to comment
steelydev
Viewport->Project Screen Objects Checking this box caused door arcs to appear. Never knew they were 'screen objects'. Thanks for all the help. Quote Link to comment
RickR
My understanding is that the 2D portions of hybrid objects are always in "screen plane," because if they were in a 3D plane then they would really be 3D objects. Clear as mud, right? Quote Link to comment
