MRD Mark Ridgewell
Is there a straight forward way to set up VW plan from a 3d model whereby VW draws lines as per drafting conventions (assuming of course these are universal..?): Hidden objects below plan cut (eg. under counter tops): dashed lines Above plan cut (eg. ceilings): dash-dot Cut plane: thick lines Visible beyond view plane: solid, but not so thick as cut plane Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
The only way I know of is to put your objects into an auto-hybrid container object. You can put each single object into its own auto-hybrid or you can put an entire layout into an auto-hybrid. For simple objects it will create a nice clean version of what you're asking for. For complex objects it will create a bit of a dogs breakfast of hidden line dashes and above plan dash-dot because it will give you everything, not just the big outline shapes. MRD Mark Ridgewell
Thanks Alan, works really well. Makes it worth investing even more time in the 3d model! M Quote Link to comment
