GMarsh
Is there a way to change a reference hatch colour (solid or other), I have tried using the class overrides, tried changing it in the layer colours Dwg file in AutoCad? It seems to not like the hatches in the reference, is there a way to import the hatch and change the colour? Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
i can't see how the class can control the hatch colour. I thought of having a duplicate hatch that you could assign using the classes. Its a bit of workaround but it would work. Quote Link to comment
markdd
It's mildly frustrating that hatch colours can't be attribute based (like textures). I am sure this would be relatively easy to implement. Quote Link to comment
ARAD
Reviving a dead thread, because I stumbled upon this problem too. Not the best, but a workaround for DWGs with a small amount of different patterns: - Duplicate the DWG in Vecotworks - in this second instance just leave the class on on which the patterns are - go to layer settings of the new object and change the setting "use layer colors" - change the background color from white to the desired color This obviously only works for colors. If you want to change the hatch, you still have to do this in AutoCad Quote Link to comment
