Roof not viewing in Section Viewport

I have a simple project, 4 rectangular brick walls with a simple single pitched roof drawn in VW2017. I started drawing a roof using AEC Roof Face... with a rectangle and assigned a 45mm thickness on a Roof Design Layer. The roof shows in plan and openGL but not in hidden line and not in the section viewport that I created. I tried creating a roof using AEC Create Roof... with a rectangle. The results are similar, the gable walls show but the roof element does not in hidden line or the section viewport but does show in openGL. The roof Design Layer and Class are turned on in the view and the viewport. Any thoughts? Regards John

Check the attributes of the Roof Component to make sure they have a fill and a line thickness.

Also check the class of the rectangle you used to draw the roof face.

It turns out that my building was located too far from the internal origin of the drawing!  Problem fixed by choosing Centre Drawing on Internal Origin - Tool/Origin menu.
