Chris F Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 I'm sure it's a simple problem but I have been able to create a roof by selecting all walls, AEC, create roof etc, however all of a sudden when I now do this and fill in the settings in the roof dialogue box it is unable to make a roof, there is no error message, the dialogue box disappears and no roof is made, and usually one wall is left selected. I have made sure it's not the walls on the building that are the problem by making a standard square wall shape and doing the same but again no roof. I have restarting with no effect. Anyone have any thoughts, perhaps something I have inadvertently changed? Thanks. Quote Link to comment

Taproot Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 You might try using the "Create Poly from Walls" command and see if that works. if it works, the resulting poly could be used to create the roof. If it doesn't then the problem would be isolated to the walls. Quote Link to comment
