0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 2, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 2, 2016 Do you mean more videos on this topic? Or in this particular style? Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Yes, all of it This is a time lapse, I would love to see it in real time to follow the steps. Ah, and it should contain your moderation. Honestly, I hoped that will be a teaser of the future VW Architecture Tutorial. Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Luis M Ruiz Posted September 15, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 15, 2016 This was an interesting project to reproduce. I learned that everything in it has a purpose or is aligned to other element and definitely all views and light respond to a strategy, nothing random about it. Here are a few views of the model and some other while I was in "action": 1 Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Thanks Louis That is a really appealing project to show on VW's drawing window. The interiors look gorgeous. Any change to see some moderated real time video cut outs to learn which tools were used where, how and why ? Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Luis M Ruiz Posted September 16, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 16, 2016 When I created the 3D promotional video, it was mainly to give a quick overview of tools available for different challenges in a project in only a few min. I believe next move will be to explain step by step how to approach certain sections. Do you have suggestions on what parts we can dig deeper? Open to ideas. Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Exactly, I have seen that you do the same/similar Walls in 3D different ways. That's what is interesting. Explaining : - what you want to achieve - wich tools are suitable - how they are used and - what are advanteges or possible drawbacks for each way And such an appealing demo project is so important to motivate, entertain and keep attention. Hmmh, no specific wishes so far. I think such a project is suitable to show everything related to VW Architect, from first design sketches, mass modeling over BIM, publishing until project archiving .... I think parts of tools are already covered by some of the new (BIM) videos. That Project may stand more for the more advanced, more custom design BIM workflow.
