custom stair tool

please bring back the custom stair tool...it's functionality, nomenclature and my ability to find my way around and understand what the heck I'm looking at just made sense.

The regular stair tool looks like it has some great features, but is just so cumbersome and not intuitive. I have to relearn the thing every time I open it up.

why are there vertical lines on my stairs (in elevation, hidden line rendering). This has ALWAYS been the case. Is anyone asking about this?

The Custom Stair tool is still there, it's just been moved to the Legacy toolset so you need to manually add it to your Workspace to bring it back.

But I agree that the 'new' regular Stair tool is confusing at best. I continue to use the Custom Stair.

It sounds like the Custom Stair tool cannot be brought out of Legacy status because of technical reasons, the best we can hope for is an informed reworking of the regular Stair tool.
