jmartinarch
I know you can control auto-join from VW preferences, but is there an "on-the-fly" way to control auto join? I am working on a basement and I don't want my framed walls to join the concrete. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted February 12, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 12, 2016 Yes, click the small quick prefs arrow at the far right of the Tool bar. Then, Auto Join Walls is a quick pref you can toggle on and off right from the bar rather than digging though VW Prefs. Quote Link to comment
jmartinarch
Thanks. I hate it when the solution is just under my nose! Sorry for such a dumb question. Have a good weekend. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
If walls are joined, say in L formation, and I want to unjoin them, my current procedure is: •Turn off pref for AutoJoin •Select Wall A, adjust it's length (resets mitre to square end), add wall cap. •Select Wall B, repeat. Can Vectorworks do this without manual length adjust and wall capping? -B Quote Link to comment
