Site model textures

I am having trouble getting a site model to display the way I want it to.

I have created the model from surveyor contours and boundaries, and assigned it to a class I call Terrain, which has solid fill and a Grass texture. The problem is that the sides of the model (used to be called the Hull) show the same texture, in spite of me assigning the 3D sides/bottom (in Graphic Properties) to a new class with solid fill and its own texture (asphalt, I just want something like a dark grey).

I have updated the model, I have restarted the program, but the model still shows grass sides.

Is there something I have missed?

Some things to check

A - Site model only shows the 3d sides/bottom (hull) in the 3d Mesh Solid display mode.

B - In Site Model graphic properties, edit the 3d Sides/Bottom attribute

1. Verify that class is set to "Hull" or whatever you named it.

2. Color is set to By Class

C - Edit the Hull class and verify:

1. Use at Creation is enabled

2. Solid fill and a color are assigned

3. Use Textures is enabled

4. in the Textures>Other tab select the Asphalt texture.

Note: if Use at Creation was not enabled, enable it and then in graphic properties reassign the hull to another class then back to Hull class.

D - Toggle the 3d display Exist/Proposed and update, just in case new texture was somehow assigned to one or the other (not sure you can do that).

Post back if that didn't help. someone has this figured.
