hsmullen
How do i measure the area of a 2d closed surface? All I can find is doing it with "Engineering Properties". With than, the surface must be a single object. All other cad programs I have used have a simple way to measure area. Quote Link to comment
zero
If you select the surface, the area shows up in the object info pallette....down the bottom. Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
You may also have to stretch your palette down to see the info at the bottom. Raymond Quote Link to comment
BAZ
Also you can add the areas of a number of closed 2d surfaces. if you highlight all of them the total combined area appears on the object info pallette. Quote Link to comment

Jim Smith
Jim W: I know that I've wish listed this in the past; I think the OIP should allow one to copy & paste the area of an object. Quote Link to comment
