scheven_architect
Any idea why the window displays the black triangles? http://i.imgur.com/6hFBxUb.jpg Edited December 25, 2014 by scheven_architect Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
It appears that there is a "Splay" on that side of the window. Go onto the Window's Settings and puzzle it through... Quote Link to comment
scheven_architect
Don't know what you mean with splay but if I make a new window that situates behind the outer brick wall it happens again. Now they all appear to be orange. Edited December 28, 2014 by scheven_architect Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Please look up "Splay" in the VW Help... I think that should explain it. Quote Link to comment
scheven_architect
I'm using the Dutch version, so nothing about english terms in help. Quote Link to comment

POA
Hi Scheven, Not sure if you have this sorted already and Im not sure what the Dutch for splay is but in the English version if you double click on the window to bring up the window settings, under the "interior Wall Detail" and "Exterior Wall Detail" tabs there is a "Splay Wall" tick box. I think this is what CipesDesign is referring to. Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
scheven_architect
http://imgur.com/HHYSfo3 Where should I find this? I guess the order is about the same as the english version. But I'm under the impression the dutch version looks very very basic compared to the English one. Quote Link to comment

scheven_architect
Nevermind, I just saw that the Dutch version is a piece of trash compared to the English one. English: 1 decent door and 1 decent window tool Dutch: 1 rubbish interior door tool and 2 rubbish exterior door/window tools screenshot of 1 of the exterior door/window tools Edited January 15, 2015 by scheven_architect Quote Link to comment
Bart Rammeloo
Hi Scheven, I see that you're struggling with that window tool - what you see is not what is supposed to happen. I know that a SP is in the works to fix a couple of bugs with that tool, but at the same time I think that simply contacting our support to check if there are no other options to make this function as you'd expect might help a lot. http://www.vectorworks.be/nl/support/online-support http://www.vectorworks.be/nl/support/telefonische-support Or via the Service Select portal: serviceselect.vectorworks.net Quote Link to comment
Gerrit
Bara is right indeed: an intermediate update will be available for download in about two weeks. His phrase "fix a couple of bugs" however should read "add over 60 bug fixes and tool enhancements". The artefact you're seeing now is one of these forementioned fixes. In order to constantly improve our tools, we partly rely on our users' positive feedback. "Piece of trash" and "rubbish" are not exactly the most usefull.
