Custom Colors

Are Custom Colors supposed to remain in a file after it has been saved?

Yes. They should appear in the Active Document color palette.

I'm not seeing that problem. Custom colors remain in the Active Document color palette and custom color palettes with custom colors remain in their custom color palettes.

Now I see what you mean.

That Add to Custom Color button and the custom color section of the color picker doesn't appear in the Mac version.

Here's what I think might be going on.

I'm assuming that VW uses OS resources for the color picker. So I'm guessing that the colors assigned to the Custom Color don't survive past the current session.

I thought you were talking about creating custom palettes and custom colors. That appears to be a VW resource. The color palette with the one custom color I made while testing is showing up in new documents.

If you went to the Active Document color palette that custom color would still be there. And if you created your own custom custom color palette it would survive and live on in new documents.

Which is what I came up with afterwards

Has any one wished for this be changed?

Also we need to be able to use html colors which if copied from a say a color picker can be pasted directly into VW
