clip cube

i have just watched the video from vectorworks regarding the above

when i right click on the selected face of the clip cube it does not give me the option to save as a section viewport on the menu.....do i have to do something else.....MT

Does the face highlight in red? If not you need to make sure the clip cube is selected first by left clicking on an edge, then hover over to the desired face until it highlights.

I see you have 2013 as well, make sure you are testing this in Vectorworks 2014 specifically, it wasn't added until then.

it works when you touch the edge of the edge and then it highlights and allows the

command when i right click.... i was trying to highlight the face in the middle of the section area that i wanted to use

although in the video tutorial this is not made quite clear

but thanks this is great asset to my work

just one more thing

does the section viewport command work on a top plan view

i am in an iso view and have cut away a top floor to reveal the ground floor

but it does not seem to work

all the side section cuts do but not the top plan view

Looks like just the sides at the moment, I'll see if this was intentional and if it was, submit a request for top-down sections as well.
