jeremyb
I am considering upgrading to VW2014. Can I import all my existing 2010 resources to use in the new version. I do hope so! Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Generally the answer is yes. First you would need to convert all the resource files to the newer version. This can be done in a couple ways, either by opening and Saving in the new version or by using the Batch Convert command. In either case, make sure to save the converted file(s) to the appropriate Resource Folder (e.g.: VW's/Libraries/etc?) Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Test the textures after conversion, esp any that are image based. They should be fine, but some may need a "jump start". Usually it's enough to just enter then exit the texture edit mode. Others may require a change, then change back in any of the option fields. I think a couple of my image mask textures reversed the invisible with the visible. -B Quote Link to comment
