I got a new one, is there anything that will create a symbol legend and include each new symbol that is dragged in to the drawing? I seem to remember something in spotlight that constitutes an auto-populating legend or key. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks Team Quote Link to comment

You will have to recalculate the worksheet to make it update but it should report on all the symbols placed in the document. Quote Link to comment
Andrew Davies Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Hi Don't know if you're still looking but I've just found out that you can : 1) Create a report (Reports>Create Reports) 2) List all Symbols and add both columns 3) Edit criteria if needed (right click on the second down row and select edit criteria) 4) type "=image" in an empty column. VW will populate with the symbol. 5) Fiddle about with format cells to get it looking pretty Superb! Going to save me a bundle of time - I used to type formulas , paste symbols etc - then things messed up if a new symbol got added. All automatic now! Great feature Quote Link to comment
