Door Tool: chamfered doors

We need the door tool to support chamfered doors. For instance when you have a door under the slope of a stair and you need to cut away the corner of the door to fit.

Change the top shape to sloped and give the rise a + or - depending on which way you wish it to fall.

Maybe that doesn't help at all.

+1 To chamfer a small section from a corner of door? This would also be very useful for doors in roof spaces.

Correct, we need to be able to chamfer a corner rather than just slope the top.

You can create a door from a symbol.

Create the symbol you want for the shape of the door, then use the Symbol Geometry option when you create the door.

Yeah, thanks Jon, but on our fees and size of projects we simply don't have time for that sort of thing. We need to be able to change the chamfer of a door with the input of a couple of figures and the click of a button.

Plus I've found the symbol geometry method to be buggy as well (e.g. door not sitting at correct height, moving around willy nilly, things like that).
