VvierA
Hello, I'm still looking for a way to scale a symbol via Vectorscript. I found that it is possible to scale symbols with the Object Info Palette. But how can I access these settings via Vectorscript? None of the 'scale' functions of Vectorworks worked yet. Thanks for help VvierA Quote Link to comment
maarten.
Didn't test it, but these should do the trick: SetObjectVariableReal(handle,102,xScaleFactor); SetObjectVariableReal(handle,103,yScaleFactor); SetObjectVariableReal(handle,104,zScaleFactor); Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
They do work, but there is also: SetObjectVariableReal(handle, 101, SymScaleType); where SymScaleType sets the way the ScaleFactors are applied. 0 = None 1 = Symmetric 2 = Asymmetric Raymond Quote Link to comment

MarcU
Hi thanks also from Switzerland. You helped me to write my randomize symbols scale script (i.e. for making tree symbols look more natural). See this post. cheers, Markus Quote Link to comment
