Recently i had my video card replaced as the old one died. what happened is after the video card replaced, when i zoom out my works, the texts become blurry, and not readable. i have attached 2 pics to show the original texts and the one after zoom out. tried to format and reinstall win 7, not help. so i bought a new machine with intel i7 and 12G ram, and video card is nvidia GTX560Ti, still THE SAME PROBLEM!! i have been trying to work it out for a week now, couldnt figure it out. so guys plz help!! In the pics, i typed a series of digit 4. after i zoom it out, the vertical line of the 4 disappeared.... but when zoom in the line is back... Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer Posted November 18, 2011 Share Posted November 18, 2011 Try messing with your VW Prefs Display settings. Make sure you have the latest service pack installed for your VW 2010 application. You could also send the file to someone you know with a PC and VW 2011 or 2012, have them open it and see if they have the same problem. Quote Link to comment
_c_ Posted November 19, 2011 Share Posted November 19, 2011 Sean, I saw something similar on Win 7 already. Please try to reduce the printing resolution of your document. Sheet layers should also be set to a lower DPI resolution. Experiment with this, it should fix the problem. orso Quote Link to comment
seanw Posted November 20, 2011 Author Share Posted November 20, 2011 thx guys, the strange thing is i just installed VW 2009 on my laptop(HP 8510W running vista) and i have not installed any updates for VW 2009. VW works fine on my laptop, when i zoome out the texts do not distort. so i am so confused now. Quote Link to comment

seanw Posted November 21, 2011 Author Share Posted November 21, 2011 thx guys, finally figured out the reason of doing that. Vectorworks 2009 didnt run properly with the latest video card. just tried a nvidia GT430 on my new desktop, it works fine... thx for the help! Quote Link to comment
