I realise a 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with a ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB graphics card isn't a very powerful machine but it can run 3D games like World of Warcraft and Call of Duty no problem.
So why does VW choke and stutter when viewing a small 2 storey house in OpenGL?
It views okay at work on our more powerful machines but what's going to happen when we try to model a large block of flats?
This OpenGL performance problem is something ArchiCAD just doesn't even begin to have, even with very large projects. What is it about VW that makes OpenGL performance so bad?
