space label font size

When using a space object, if the label has text that has to be changed in size, you do it by editing the label symbol.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something about this. When I edit the symbol and select the data text field, when I try to change the font size, the symbol text shows up grossly bigger. For instance, the symbol text name shows up on the drawing as if it were font size 144 when I set it to be size 2.

Is this a bug or is this operator error ? If it is operator error, please enlighten me. Thanks.

I think it's a bug and related to whether you're viewing a Sheet Layer or a Design Layer when you try to edit the symbol from the Resource Browser.

(I know it sounds ridiculous)

Anyway, if I remember, the trick is to edit the symbol with DLs visible and give the label a size you want it to be with respect to the drawing and in the SLVP this will be carried through.

The Space Object symbols need to be edited in a layer that is at a scale of 1:1. If you do that the text is defined in real point size.

thanks for the help ... I'm often confused if its the program or if it is operator error (it is often operator error).
