Bruce Kieffer
Please look at the attached 2 PDFs. Scene 1 is a DL rendering. Scene 2 is the SLVP rendering. I'm trying to figure out why the colors are washed out in the SLVP rendering. I rendered the DL, and use it to create the SLVP. As far as I can tell, all the lighting settings are the same. Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted March 29, 2011 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 29, 2011 Hello Bruce: Is your VW preference for Edit->Default Compression set to JPEG or PNG? I am seeing differences for bitmaps made with JPEG versus PNG compression on. The JPEG image has more color saturation. The PNG image matches what I am seeing onscreen in the design layer better. Also, how did you get the PDFs out of VW, using PDF export? Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
I have it set to PNG. I think I used Apple's save to PDF. I just tried exporting as a PDF from VW and that works great. Thanks Dave. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Attached is the SLVP PDF exported from VW through the file menu. That makes it look the same. Quote Link to comment
