bcd Posted January 29, 2011 Share Posted January 29, 2011 (edited) So I'm trying to draw spiral curves not easily created using the Basic VW toolset and am using Apples Grapher application to define them. Grapher can export EPS files, which contain the vector data. VW can import the EPS files. All good. Now I just need to be able to Convert the EPS to a Group to access the curves in much the same way that I could if it were a PDF. (The PDF export/Import/Convert to Group/Ungroup works but the curve gets lost) Is this the right tree? Edited January 29, 2011 by bcd Quote Link to comment

Art V Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 I've been fiddling with EPS files, but it seems that VW cannot convert them the same way as it can with PDFs. Did you try to create the curve in 3D in VW, create a 2D view and export that to PDF and then import this PDF back into VW and then convert/ungroup etc.? Maybe the curve would not get lost that way?
