Fred Bock
When I insert a top hat accessory to a source four leko it goes to the center of the symbol. When I try to select the accessory symbol and place it in the front of the leko symbol I can't. There does not seem to be a way to select the top hat symbol and move it to the proper place on the instrument symbol. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or are others having this problem? michaelk
I'm seeing the same problem. The position of the accessory symbols seems to be very dependent on the relationship of the instrument relative to the focus point. It is very difficult to select the accessory. Once the accessory is selected, dragging it to the correct position has no effect. It doesn't move. Changing the height of the instrument makes the accessory move relative to the instrument. - it seems to be following it's 3D position. After adding a focus point or moving a focus point the instrument will follow the focus point in 3D, but the accessory needs to be refreshed in order to "track". Kevin - any hints on how to handle this? mk Quote Link to comment

JBenghiat
Look at Place Devices and Accs in Sam Jones' AutoPlot Tools for SpotLight. http://www.autoplotvw.com/APSL_Desc.asp His way of adding accessories is a little more intelligent. -Josh Quote Link to comment
Fred Bock
AutoPlot tools do not solve the problem. The issues is most certainly related to the changes to the 3D portion of the symbol. I do not have the problem when using symbols converted from 2010. I can insert accessories as usual. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Fred I'm seeing the same thing. 2010 symbols are correct in 2D, incorrect (in the usual, 2010 way) in 3D. Has anyone submitted this as a bug yet? Quote Link to comment
Stephen Sorenson
I was able to get around this by temporarily downgrading to V2011 SP1. Edited January 14, 2011 by Stephen Sorenson Quote Link to comment
