Worksheet Type not showing up

I have tried to set up a simple worksheet on a new file in 2011. The info seems to load onto the worksheet but the type is not visible.

Please see attached.

I must be doing something really stupid so any help would be much appreciated.

If you format a cell, does it have a font?

I've found that selecting all the cells and assigning a font makes them happy.

I've also found that once it happens in a drawing, it's a good predictor that it will happen again.

I have tried fomatting the cells and even changed the text colour but to no avail.

You have set up the database to show the correct number of objects, but you have not given it the formulas for what you want to show.

There is a script in this thread that will show you all of the possible fields if you select the object and run the script.

Make sure you copy/paste from the formula bar or the formulas won't work.

thank you for that great script. I'm intrigued though. How would you go about finding what formulas to put in the database if not for your script. Is there a listing anywhere?

For PIOs that are written in Vectorscript you can look them up in the Tools:Scripts:Vectorscript Plugin Editor. How do you know if they are written in VS? Look in the list in the Plugin Editor.

After you find the object you are interested in, select it and click the Parameters button. This will show you all of the fields in the Plugin record for that object type. The one you need is the Name, not the Alternate Name that shows in the OIP.

For PIOs not written in VS, (Space, Door, Window, probably others), and ones that are, you could also use the Tools:Reports:Create Report and it will create the correct formulas that you can then go and look at.
