Roman
I'm using .50 line weight for my walls, and when I insert a window w/ cap breaks, the .50 Cap line gets partially obscured by the window, making it closer to .36 How do I get a full .50 cap break? Quote Link to comment
Alora
I would try sending the wall to the front which would obscure the window slightly. Quote Link to comment
willofmaine
In the Windows Settings dialogue box: Click on the "View" tab. Check "Use Part Line Styles" In the drop-down select "Jamb" and set it to .50; close the Windows Settings. Don't make the mistake of thinking you're done... Select the window(s), and in the Attributes Palette set the Pen Style to "None." Hopefully this will prompt the window to acknowledge its line weight settings (at least in VW 2008). Roman
Willofmaine, thank you! I was confounded by the "Use Part Line Styles" not working... It should be defualt set the pen attribute to none... The problem is that I have now have dozens of doors that need to adjusted to .50 but I can't select all of them and modify their Jamb setting... Is it possible to do it all at once? Quote Link to comment
willofmaine
Theoretically yes but, at least in VW 2008, there appears to be a bug such that the line style can't be changed simultaneously for multiple windows. You can select all of your windows using Tools > Custom Selection. Then, in the Object Info Palette, click on "Settings" and see if you can change them all at once. In VW 2008, it seems to only change the first window selected... Quote Link to comment
