Chris Rogers
I can't seem to figure out how to make 3 different walls come together to a single point in a T configuration and clean up correctly. I can use the L shaped cleanup to make the first two clean up, but the 3rd wall never cleans up correctly. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Welcome to the club. Certain wall joins are tricky, but nearly all of them can be accomplished. Please post a shot of the exact configuration you are trying to join. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to help you... Quote Link to comment
Ken
If it's just for immediate printing or producing a PDF, here's the temporary workaround, assuming you have v2008: EXPORT your drawing to v2008. Launch v2008 and open the drawing in v2008. Accomplish your T join (or Y join or X join or complex + join whatever), relish the moment and enjoy your amazing wall joining powers in v2008! Save file. Open the same drawing in v2010. Voil?. The trouble is when you have to modify the same walls for any reason. They revert back to broken again. Also works using v2009. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
there is a way to join 3 wall, but it does involve a trick, and it doesn't always work... draw a polygon for the area of overlap of the 3 walls. This can be a triangle. Color this the same color as the walls. Use the pillar tool from the AEC menu to make this into a Pillar. now join each wall to the pillar. this is one of the many tricks in my Vector-workout Guide to Productivity available from http://www.archoncad.co.nz/training/vector-workout.php#productivity2010 Quote Link to comment
