Steven Kenzer
Something weird is going on with my drawings now...no clue why. I'm working on a drawing, let's say I place a rectangle in the drawing....when I move my cursor over to one of my palettes, the drawings brightness level starts fluctuating in and out..very strange. I can click on the drawing to stop this behavior but once I add another "stroke", this repeats itself as I move off the drawing to one of the palettes. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this possibly QuickTime related? I am up to date with 2009 compatibility with Snow Leopard. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. 10.6.2 now Now realize that something on the drawing has to be selected for this to happen. Draw a rectangle, keep it selected, move to a tool pallet or just move the cursor off the window, and brightness fluctuates in and out.....very bright, down to semi bright...in and out, in and out. Pat Stanford
Check your Vectorworks Preferences, Interactive tab and see what you have the Highlighting Animation set to. My guess is that you have it set to On. Try the Off or Burst and see if you like that better. Quote Link to comment

Steven Kenzer
It was set to off, Pat but when I selected it and then de- selected it, the behavior stopped. Thanks so much for pointing me to the source of the problem. Quote Link to comment
