Twickenhaman
Hi from a novice, Is there any reasonably detailed info on modeling 3d objects such as an oval washbasin readily accessible. I have tried extrude along path with a profile and say an oval path with mixed success. I would like to be able to do this with some predictability though. Perhaps this is the wrong way to do it and thats what I need to find out. Thank you David Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Try RevolveWithRail ... works great with most shapes ! Create the inner and the outer profiles separately, then after RevolveWithRail combine them into an AddSolid shape. For non-circular basins you can punch out the drain or create a separate drain profile ... Quote Link to comment

mike m oz
Have a look at the bathtub example on the 3D Power Pack Samples page. Download it and unpick: http://www.nemetschek.net/3DPowerpack/samples.php Quote Link to comment
