VinceHollywood
I have noticed that there is a way to make a class for example "Truss" and then have a sub class in that class with a dropdown menu where you could put for example "upstage truss" and "downstage truss." Does anyone know how to execute this? Cheers, Vincent Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted June 25, 2009 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 25, 2009 Just use a "-" You would probably want to name your classes "Truss-Upstage" and "Truss-Downstage" To get the downstage truss as a sub menu of Truss, you would have to name the calss "Truss-downstage truss" The class name is exactly what you enter, the menu just displays it as a sub class. JBenghiat
To create a subclass, simply enter a dash (-) in the class name. Each dash creates a new child class. So, in your case, "Truss-upstage" and "Truss-downstage." -Josh Quote Link to comment
