Tracie Wueller
I am having a frustrating little problem... I am referencing in a design layer viewport of an external reference that has one wall with 2 identical symbols placed within it. For some reason, only one of those symbols will show up in the file into which it is referenced. In the external reference file, both symbols show up; also if I double click in the design layer viewport to edit the referenced file, both symbols show up. The same problem occurs if I switch the symbols to plug-in objects, as well. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!! Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Are the objects possibly in different classes and one of those classes is turned off in the viewport? What happens if you duplicate the object that does show up? Does the new duplicate show? Quote Link to comment
Tracie Wueller
I've double checked the classes/layers and they are the same for both objects. I've also tried duplicating the one that does show, as well as inserting a new symbol from the Resource Browser. None of that seems to work. Thanks for the suggestions, though. Quote Link to comment
bcd
Just a wild idea Tracie, are you sure you're looking at the same wall in the referenced file and the younger file? Quote Link to comment
Tracie Wueller
Yes, it is definitely the same wall... Quote Link to comment
