jfmarch
Hi- We are using VW 2008 and have a custom titleblosk symbol that we use on our cover sheets. Since we have upgraded to 2008, these symbol have a weird corruption on that objects appear at the insertion point on the sheet layer. The IP is the lower right corner and we either see our logo PDF, or a section of insulation object (one has that plus several drawing object clumped together). These items are not visible when we edit the symbol. We have recreated the cover TBLK, but there are still these items appearing. Any suggestions? Ray Libby
Have you updated to SP3? Have you tried Tools menu>Utilities>Update Plug-in objects? Post a file or a screen shot. Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
We are up to date with SP3, and I have tried the Tools menu for titleblocks. Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
Additonal info: We use two TLBK's for our drawings- one for the cover and another for all other sheets. Both have a PDF of our logo (B&W), but the cover has a larger one, physical size wise. Quote Link to comment
CAD_Boy
Can you upload your title block by itself so I may download it and see if I can resolve it? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
This might just work in your case ... sometimes the TLBK can 'appear' totally corrupted ... one way to correct this malfeasance is to have a generic 'Saved View' of a single TopPlan Layer ready for action. When the TLBK gets weird click on the Saved View ... let it sort out the GUI weirdness and then start fresh with the Sheet > VP. Worth a try anyway... Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
I wish there was an easy way to publish small images or screen shots here... Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
What problem are you having posting images? Quote Link to comment
jfmarch
Posting images here used to be easier, as I recall. Now my understanding is that images need to have links. It is a burden for quick information transfer ,I think. Quote Link to comment

jfmarch
Well, Thanks to Ray, it appears that the PDF is the problem. At least in one of our title block symbols. Our cover sheet TBLK was troublesome, but now works because we changed the PDF logo to a drawn polygon. Our other standard sheet TBLK has a smaller PDF in it, but does not give us any issues. There must be some glitch with PDF's of a certain size... ? Quote Link to comment
