cwailes
I cannot seem to figure out why my file sizes have increased when making a PDF proof. If I create a new document, draw in four walls, add a door and a window the file exported to PDF is very small, 140k. If I take another doc and do the sam thing but add dimensions and a few other annotations, the file jumps to 10mb. Why? How do I get it to be smaller sizes again? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Try adjusting the resolution of the Sheet Layer (in the Layer setup) ? Quote Link to comment
cwailes
I tried that and it still exports to around 10mb. The only way I can get the file size down is open up the PDF in Acrobat, export each sheet out as an EPS and then re-distill them, the file is then down below 1mb. Quote Link to comment
gmm18
I think you'll have to post a file here for others to try out. Quote Link to comment
joerg
If you open in Acrobat than go to "Document"/ reduce filesize it will shrink enormously with almost no loss of quality... Quote Link to comment
