Robert Darden
I have set up an 11x17 sheet for a project drawings. However, when I do Print Preview, it splits the page into two 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. How do I set up for 11x17 printing? Quote Link to comment
gmm18
Go to Page Setup Make sure it looks like this. But if you are on Windows it might be different. You should post your system info in your signature. Quote Link to comment

Robert Darden
When I make the 1:1 change, it turns the page vertical, while the page image stays horizontal. Quote Link to comment
Robert Darden
Here's the info: MacBook Pro 17" Mac OS X Version 10.5.5 Vectorworks 2009 SP1 (Build 96841) Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Click on Printer Setup... and set your print page orientation there. Quote Link to comment
Robert Darden
That still does not change the gridded page orientation to landscape. And, when I change the orientation in the Object Info palette, it rotates only the border, not the other information. Quote Link to comment
gmm18
You do not need to change anything in the Object Info Palette (OIP). Perhaps you are trying to rotate a drawing border? Well that only changes the drawing border itself, not the other objects or borders on the sheet, and it does not control the page setup. Okay, check again...your Page Setup should look like this: You might need to post an image to get the final answer you need. Use a screenshot, Command-Shift-4 is the keyboard shortcut, then drag over what you want to capture. It will put a .png on your desktop. Switch to "Full Reply" and "File Manager" to attach an image. Pat Stanford
Go to Page Setup and click the Printer Setup button. Set the Paper size to 11x17. Set the Orientation to Landscape (horizontal). Click OK. In the Page Setup Dialog box, the Width and Height should be something close to Width of 17 and Height of 11. It will be less as it takes into account the unprintable margins as defined by your printer. If this does not work, let us know. Pat Quote Link to comment
