I created a dormer by dragging in the window into the roof in isometric view.
However, I want to modify the window, but can't - the program only allows editing of a skylight.
Please advise, thanks!
All,
Attached is the file on which I am trying to establish the exterior wall heights:
Foundation: 36" CMU wall above grade, 24" below grade
First floor: 9 ft. floor to ceiling height
Second floor: 9 ft. floor to ceiling height
If someone has a chance, please review and advise why I can't establish the wall heights. Am I using the wrong wall types?
Thanks.

Wes and rDesign,
Thank you for the replies.
I am wading thru the information you sent, but I have one general question: do stories and / or layers have to be established BEFORE starting the project?
I am new to V2020 and have issues with projecting walls heights with Stories.
I used to be able to just set the wall height under "Tools / Organization / Design Layers / Wall Height". Apparently I need to set the heights under "Stories", but i do not understand it and there doesn't seem to be a tutorial for this.
Help!! Thanks.
What rendering mode do I use to show elevation textures in black & white?
The Fast Renderworks settings still shows textures in color and I need to how textures when I print the elevation sheet.
I usually save my sheet layers as pdf's, either in 11x17 or 8.5x11 format, then request my printer to enlarge them to either 18x24 or 24x36.
However, my printer recently told me the prints would not be to scale.
How do I save my sheet layers as pdf's so they will print to architectural scale?
I am trying to insert doors into walls in a converted CAD drawings and I keep getting these arrows in the leaf, the swing, everywhere.
Is there a way of getting rid of the arrows?
Is there a simple way to adopt a plumbing layout to a riser diagram?
I can't do an elevation or a section, as some of the fixtures will overlap.
Thanks.
I have doors in an existing plan. Now when I try to change or add doors, arrows appear in the door, for he swing, etc.
How to I stop the arrows from appearing?
Help ASAP, as I need to print plans this morning!
Thanks.
