henry's mom
I am trying to show an antique stove which I have modelled as a simple box...how can I place an image of the actual stove on this box for my rendered model? Is that possible? Thanks Michelle 12.5, XP Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
It sounds like what you want is an Image Prop. Look it up in the Vectorworks online help. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
make the image into a texture. add the texture to the box. I used to do this all the time. But I have a new trick now. use an image prop. making an image prop works really well where you do not need to see the back end of the fireplace. so for kitchens this trick works well for fridges, dishwashers, microwaves and so on. if you are in my online user group, one of the extended movies shows you exactly how to do this. gmm18
You can create a new Renderworks Texture. Select the Image Color, Pick your photo, then add that texture to your object. You can then use the Attributes Mapping Tool to adjust the size and placement. Quote Link to comment

gmm18
Making an Image Prop is easy. Set Size. In this case you probably also want to uncheck the "auto rotate" option. That's it. Render it to see your results. Quote Link to comment
