Hyperlinks

Hyperlink support would be handy (for linking to both local files file:/// and web links http:// ftp:// ).

I'm in the process of laying out all of our resources and symbols on Design Layers, and it would be nice to link to the webpages where the symbols have been derived from.

In the proposed VW Hyperlink scenario the URL needs to be harvested from the document via VS and then sent out via the OS to the WebBrowser for display ( VW does not include a WebBrowser module and probably never will ; )

One possible solution:

Using Automator > AppleEvents, it is possible to pass the selected URL as string via the Clipboard over to ActivateWebBrowser for connection to the net.

AutoCAD has had this for almost ten years (v. 2000)...though you could export documents with hyperlinks in R14.
