bonus
How do I get the dimensions in the 1:1 design layers to show correctly in 1:100 viewports? Actually just moving a dimension (arch) from one layer to another with a different scale corrupts the dimension. The slashes will not adjust to the scale. Is this a known bug? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Select the viewport. In the OIP click on Advanced Properties... Change the Marker Scale: to 1/100 Quote Link to comment
bonus
Thank you Ray - this helps for now. But shouldn't everything rescale automatically? Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Nope. You can create a custom dimension with the smaller slash that will be correct at the scale of the viewport. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Dimension markers are set to real world scale. It you tell it to be a 6mm filled arrow, it will be a 6mm arrow at 1:1 and at 1:100. As Ray says, if you need it to look different in different viewports, then you need to either adjust the viewport or change the dimension standard. Pat Quote Link to comment
