can you change the text width from the object info palette for the callout tool in version 2008 as you were able to in version 12.5?

it seems to have changed as I said I can't change the max text width or the marker style from within the object info palette whereas I could do this in version 12.5, see attached screenshots, there is a difference or am I using the wrong tool?

OK, I see what you mean.

The text max width is still there, but you are right about the marker.

I never really used callouts, so I'm not really fit to answer your question, but I found something that might help.

Markers can be edited in "tools > options > edit marker list".

have you tried changing the text max width by typing a new value into the box, I could do this in version 12.5 but I cant in version 2008?

Well - I could change the value, but when pressing enter it switches back to the previous value.

This must be a bug.

On the other hand the stretch tool (interactive scaling) works - for the time beeing.

I was wrong about the marker editing too.

That was just to edit the marker list and the listed markers - not to swich between them. Sorry about that.

I just started using this tool (thanks to beanus topic) and wanted to switch marker.

So - NNA - what is the problem here?
