One problem with the purge command, as it is, is that it's a sledge hammer when a lot of the time all you need is a nut cracker.
For instance we've finished drawings some elevations of a building and we now have quite a few superseded/redundant window symbols that we'd like to get rid of. But to automatically purge them we'd need to purge all symbols from the file and we don't want to do this.
One way to solve this could be to introduce the ability to purge only those symbols within a nominated folder.
