Where do I download the v13 30-day trial from?

I'm sure Katie mentioned it. Or maybe it isn't a download?

yes please....we'd like to evaluate it now so that we can decide if it's worth the upgrade when the localised UK version comes out.

It's odd that you don't have a trial version in general.

I would have thought that a time/feature limited download would be the norm. I know this is the case for ArchiCAD...and our local distributor often sends me a copy on CD with the hope of us switching...

Paying up front with a money-back guarantee is no good if someone is considering the switch from ACAD to either VW or ArchiCAD....they won't pay for both and send one back...they just want to try both out, without strings, and see which they like.

if i'm going to convince my boss to pay for the upgrade he's going to want to see it before the breaks out the credit card.

There are two options - a Multimedia CD and an Evaluation copy.

The multimedia disk overviews the new features and the evaluation copy is a limited version of VectorWorks. Certain functions are disabled such as import/export, save, & print.

And the Evaluation Copy isn't a download option due to file size I presume (after reading the thread about selling it as a download)?

Can't you distribute it on Bittorent...?
