Christiaan
Where do I download the v13 30-day trial from? I'm sure Katie mentioned it. Or maybe it isn't a download? Quote Link to comment
Chris D
yes please....we'd like to evaluate it now so that we can decide if it's worth the upgrade when the localised UK version comes out. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted September 14, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 14, 2007 It's a 30-day money back guarantee for US buyers. Our distributors in other countries have the right to set their own policies on this (I think). Quote Link to comment
Chris D
It's odd that you don't have a trial version in general. I would have thought that a time/feature limited download would be the norm. I know this is the case for ArchiCAD...and our local distributor often sends me a copy on CD with the hope of us switching... Paying up front with a money-back guarantee is no good if someone is considering the switch from ACAD to either VW or ArchiCAD....they won't pay for both and send one back...they just want to try both out, without strings, and see which they like. Bad policy Robert, in my view. Quote Link to comment
altoids
12.5 had a free trial. It is what convinced us to upgrade. Quote Link to comment
jan15
Even Autocad has a 30 day free trial now. Quote Link to comment
mralistair
if i'm going to convince my boss to pay for the upgrade he's going to want to see it before the breaks out the credit card. ad I want to know it's worth it... it's not an inconsiderable amount of money Quote Link to comment
Guest
There are two options - a Multimedia CD and an Evaluation copy. The multimedia disk overviews the new features and the evaluation copy is a limited version of VectorWorks. Certain functions are disabled such as import/export, save, & print. Please contact your local distributor or sales rep for more information on both options. Quote Link to comment
Chris D
And the Evaluation Copy isn't a download option due to file size I presume (after reading the thread about selling it as a download)? Can't you distribute it on Bittorent...? Quote Link to comment
